Since July 17, affected by the severe typhoon In-Fa, Henan province has been hit by extremely heavy rainfall, which has brought prolonged and heavy rainfall to the central west and northwest regions. In the face of the sudden flood, Jiaozuo branch company took precautions, quickly started the emergency plan for flood control, made good reserve of manpower and material resources, actively responded to the impact of heavy rainfall, earnestly carried out flood control work, and made the best efforts to reduce flood losses and ensure the safety of personnel and property. The following is the relevant report:

The flood is an order. On July 16, the day before the heavy rain, Jiaozuo branch company held a special meeting overnight to urgently deploy flood control work and quickly implement various security measures for flood control. The general manager of the company, Mr. Yuan Jianguang, led the plant managers and department heads to guide the flood control work in the front line, and immediately arranged personnel to carry out hidden danger investigation for the safety production of each plant, especially production workshops, electrical substations, cable trenches, inspection wells and other structures and key equipment. If any hidden dangers that may leak rain or accumulate water are found, they shall be eliminated immediately and preparations for flood control shall be made with all efforts. Each workshop operation team is equipped with sufficient sandbags and other flood control apparatus to protect the important places such as transformer rooms, workshops and warehouses from being flooded, and make all preparations in advance to cope with heavy rain.

Heavy rains plunged in on July 17, and it was Saturday. In order to master the first-hand data of water volume information, Mr. Yuan and the plant managers began to check the water inflow of bilge wells one by one along the sewage pipe network in the rain, took a closer look at the rise of water level in river channel, directed targeted flood control works in the plant, and required each staff of each plant to perform personal safety protection while strengthening the inspection of the production site, and closely watching the real-time condition of various structures and equipment to ensure the normal production.

Due to the low terrain of the Wanfang plant and its location in the flooding area of the Shanmen river and Dasha river, in order to do a good job in advance of the plant flood prevention, Mr. Yuan worked with staffs overnight in the rain, building a water retaining wall enclosure outside the plant door and power distribution room with sandbags, and sticking to it day and night.

At 12: 00 a.m., July 20, due to the sudden power failure of the whole plant led by the external line fault caused by extreme weather, the river water of Shanmen river began to flow back into the Wanfang plant, and the water level increased sharply to 0.6 m. At this time, everyone was urgent to the flood wall reinforcement. At 22 p.m., the power was still not restored. And the releasing of flood waters of the Dasha river caused the collapse of the north and south walls near the outside of the plant. The flood flowed into the plant from north and south, and the water levels rose again. At this moment, in order to minimize the loss of enterprise property, Mr. Yuan and Mr. Hao, the plant manager, took the lead and led everyone to quickly move the equipment in the office building and laboratories to a high place for protection, and reported the disaster to the government leaders and group leaders at the first time, while urgently organizing the orderly evacuation of personnel. On the morning of July 22, all staffs of Wanfang plant were evacuated from the plant safely. At present, the heavy rainfall in Jiaozuo is still ongoing, and the alarm of upstream flood discharge is still not released. After the danger is relieved, Wanfang plant will immediately self-rescue and resume production.

In addition, Jiaozuo first and second plants located in the suburb of Jiaozuo were also affected by floods to a certain extent, with unsmooth drainage and waterlogging on some roads. As a result of adequate emergency preparation and measures, the danger was immediately relieved and production was not affected too much. At present, Jiaozuo first and second plants are operating normally and praised by the government leaders.

Torrential rain pour in, and the flood is as dangerous as tigers! In the face of the flood caused by extreme weather and the turbulent and long-lasting rainstorm, Jiaozuo branch company's all employees have withstood the severe test. In the face of the flood, the leaders set an example, take the lead to confront difficulties. The whole staff united as one, stand together through thick and thin. There are plans, measures and targeted policies to minimize the impact of flood on production. In this flood control, Kangda's responsibility and prosperity are highlighted again.

"Guard our land and do our duty." Experienced the test of strong rainfall and flood, all the staff of Jiaozuo Kangda will firmly believe that they will live up to the group's great trust, build a solid dam to protect the safety of one party, and work hand in hand to escort our enterprise and our common home.
