At the beginning of 2022, Kangda (Dongying) Environmental Protection Water Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dongying plant) received good news. With an excellent R&D team, strong technical strength, and sustainable innovation ability, Dongying plant successfully passed the accreditation for the second batch of high-tech enterprise in Shandong Province in 2021 and won the “High-tech Enterprise Certificate” issued by the Department of Science & Technology of Shandong Province, Shandong Provincial Department of Finance, and Shandong Provincial Tax Service.
In order to be a high-tech enterprise and fully enjoy the government's preferential policies of tax and fee reduction for enterprises, all staff of Dongying plant strived to develop their own advantages. It actively established an R&D team, invested huge amounts of money and effort in R&D in technological innovation of sewage treatment process, and obtained a number of independent R&D patents and national intellectual property patents. With the strong support of the Group, the Dongying plant and the Group's functional departments worked closely together in terms of the submission of application materials, compliance review and accreditation, public announcement and registration, and expert evaluation. Dongying plant finally obtained the certification of “High-tech Enterprise” after several months of strict examination at all levels. It is reported that the government will offer certain incentives and preferential tax policies for the enterprises which passed the accreditation.
To maintain this hard-earned title requires more effort in the future. Dongying plant will take this opportunity to continue to build a team of high-quality talents, continuously improve capabilities of innovation and R&D, lay a solid foundation for further development, and strive to become the backbone of leading the development of the water utility industry.
