On August 2, 2019, Kangda Environmental Protection (Shangqiu) Water Co., Ltd. held the training on implementation of the double prevention system of risk classification control and hidden danger investigation and management with all its officials and employees at the conference room on the third floor. Leaders of the Safety and Technology Department of the Urban Management Bureau were invited, and all employees of Shangqiu Kangda Sewage Treatment Co., Ltd. also attended the meeting. The company has implemented the double prevention system since March 2019. Problems that employees have encountered in work safety were discussed at the meeting in a lively atmosphere. Remarkable results were obtained.

The training was presided over by Mr. Peng Fandi, a safety expert in Henan Province and an expert in safety and double prevention in Shangqiu. At first, Mr. Peng explained the meaning, basic principles and risk grade standards of risk classification control, and the basic safety principles that should be followed in large-scale environmental engineering and technical operations. Secondly, he specifically introduced common hidden dangers and risk points in the sewage treatment industry, the identification of hazard sources, risk assessment, job specifications, management standards and measures, and also put forward corresponding measures for the possible risk points in different jobs. The risk classification control should follow unified leadership. The responsibility system at four levels of factory director, heads of departments, shifts and posts, and the management concept of "people orientation, education first, long-term basis and focus on actual effect" should be established. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen safety training for frontline grass-roots employees, master the risks and prevention measures of this type of work and process, understand the safety risks, operating procedures, operating standards, control measures, and emergency measures in each process, and form written records, so that employees can truly master the safety risks and preventive measures of this type of work, and improve their safety and prevention ability.

This training has deepened employees' understanding of the importance of work safety, enhanced their sense of responsibility for work safety, and also improved the safety quality of management personnel, strengthened their management function and on-site control and improved the risk prevention ability, making every employee truly keep in mind the awareness of work safety.
