Rushan Kangda Holds an Emergency Drill for Leakage of Hazardous Chemicals (Hydrogen Peroxide)

       At 16: 00 p.m. on July 22, 2019, Rushan Kangda Water Co., Ltd. conducted an emergency drill for the leakage of hazardous chemicals (hydrogen peroxide) at Rushan No.2 Plant.



       This drill simulated the accident discovery and report, emergency plan initiation, safe evacuation, on-site rescue, medical rescue, waste liquid disposal, etc. after hazardous chemicals (hydrogen peroxide) leakage, covering all aspects of emergency response, disposal and rescue. Rushan Kangda attached great importance to this drill. Before the drill, employees were organized to learn the characteristics of and emergency plans for hazardous chemicals. The participating departments made various preparations for the drill according to their respective responsibilities and division of work to ensure that the required equipment is adequately in place. The drill was strictly carried out in accordance with the Emergency Response Plan for Hazardous Chemicals Leakage. Under the leadership of the deputy factory directors Wang Longqiang, Song Haixia and Duan Yingwei from on-site control department, the emergency drill for hazardous chemicals leakage accident was successfully completed. After the drill, Deputy Factory Director Song Haixia summarized and analyzed the situation of the drill and made requirements for the precautions during the operation of hazardous chemicals in the actual production process.


       This drill has tested and strengthened the emergency response capability and emergency disposal capability of various departments of Rushan Kangda in response to emergencies such as hazardous chemicals leakage, and has improved the management level of production safety and the actual operational level of emergency rescue. The drill is of great significance to the improvement of the management of production safety and emergency rescue of Rushan Kangda Water Co., Ltd.
