Love Warms up Maping --Kangda Group Donates to Maping Primary School

On December 16, 12 young volunteers from Kangda Group, led by Duan Haiyan, assistant to the Group president, and Zhu Tao, deputy director, went to Maping Primary School in Tianba Town, Wuxi County to attend the completion ceremony of the campus culture wall donated by Kangda Group and carry out the "Love Warms up Maping" volunteer activity.

Being honest and socially responsible has always been the core value consistently applied by Kangda Group from the very beginning. Education is crucial to the future and destiny of our country, and it is incumbent upon Kangda Group to support the cause of education in China, especially that of rural basic education. The Group Company donated 100,000 yuan to Maping Primary School for the renovation of the campus walls and the construction of campus cultural facilities to improve the teaching environment, in addition to more than 200 gifts, including school bags, books and stationery for the children. Kangda Group hopes, through this series of actions, to express its concern about the teachers and students in mountainous areas and do its share of contribution to rural education. While developing its business, Kangda Group will regard supporting the cause of education as carrying forward traditional virtues and the corporate culture in a bid to fulfill its social mission as a company through concrete actions.

During the event, the volunteers had a close interaction with the children. Some were learning the button handmade "stunt" from the children, others singing and dancing and playing games with them, still others talking about their future, dreams and confusions with them... The volunteers, looking at the bright and happy faces of the children, were feeling warm inside despite the cold weather... The children, snuggling around or surrounding the volunteers like intimate friends, were whispering and giggling to their companions, making the entire campus as lively as in March. In the end, the children not only presented red scarves to the Group leaders and volunteers, but also offered button handicrafts that symbolized friendship to the group companies.
