On October 12, 2017, the Water Service Department of Kangda EP Group convened the annual meeting of the technical committee in Wenzhou Charun Water Treatment Co., Ltd. 

      The meeting was chaired by the general manager Lin Jian. Wen Jianhua, Liao Shen and Guan Chao from the Water Service Department, Yuan Jianguang from Jiaozuo Branch, Yang Yi from Shangqiu Branch, Du Wenju from Wanbei Branch, Sheng Xiongjian from Luxi Branch, Wang Ruitian from Weifang Branch, Liu Guangxu from Linyi Plant, Dai Chunwei from Harbin Plant, Zheng Guohui, Yu Gang and Yang Kai from Wenzhou Charun Water Treatment Co., Ltd., and other technical experts attended the meeting.

      At the meeting, Lin Jian, general manager of the Water Service Department, illustrated the background and mechanism of the technical committee, analyzed the current situation of environmental protection, and raised requirements for the technical committee concerning the production technology management for branches and straight pipe water works.

      Given that the sewage treatment plant has started to install the on-line monitoring equipment for total phosphorus and total nitrogen, the attendees conducted a lively discussion on how to stably reach the standard for total phosphorus and total nitrogen through the production control during the denitrification and chemical phosphorus removal and the selection of the carbon source for denitrification and agent for chemical phosphorus removal. They also carried out more in-depth exchanges on emergency programs, and made proposals for the technological process to enhance the standard.

      After the meeting, the attendees, accompanied by leaders and workers from Charun such as the general manger Mr. Zheng, visited the Wenzhou Xipian Sewage Treatment Plant under expansion and improvement for enhancing the standard.

      The meeting saw the exchanges of experience and technologies, where the members talked freely and frankly. Thanks to the meeting, the Water Service Department has built a technical exchange platform and enhanced the cohesion within the group.
