On January 21, 2019, all employees of Kangda Environmental Protection (Shangqiu) Water Co., Ltd. attended the Fire Safety Conference in the conference room on the third floor. Jia Changhua, a safety manager, Deputy Director of Shangqiu Water Plant, elaborated the importance of fire safety to attendees. Wu Jichan, Assistant to Director of Shangqiu Water Plant, explained in detail the fire elements and types of ignition sources, the corresponding fire extinguishing methods, and the specific operation methods and precautions of various fire extinguishing equipment.

      After the Conference, all employees carried out practical operation of fire extinguishers, hydrants and other fire fighting equipment. Director Wu personally conducted the operation, checked the operation of employees, and pointed out mistakes made in the use of fire fighting equipment, so as to ensure that every employee can accurately master the operation points and usage methods of all kinds of fire fighting equipment, and enhance their awareness of emergency prevention.
      Shangqiu Water Plant always puts fire safety at an important position. By inviting fire brigade instructors to give lectures, carrying out fire safety knowledge training, organizing fire safety examinations, conducting fire fighting drills and other forms, it has been helping all employees to be able to grasp basic knowledge about fire fighting, enhance self-protection ability, know how to put out fires and carry out personnel emergency evacuation in an orderly manner.
