On September 21, 2017, the Signing Ceremony ofEPC Contract for Renovation and Expansion Project of Sewage Treatment Plants of Dongfang Citybetween Hainan Provincial Dongfang City Water Affairs Engineering Co., Ltd. and Kanda EP Group was held in Haikou. Wu Bofei, Deputy General Manager of Hainan Provincial Water Affairs Group, Ma Fanling, CFO of the group, Wang Biyun, President of Dongfang City Water Affairs Engineering Co., Ltd., Zhang Weizhong, President of Kanda EP Group, Wang Tianci, Vice President of Kanda EP Group, Lei Rui, Chief Engineer of Water Environment Division of the group, Xie Fuqiang, President of Central and Southern China Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., Hainan Branch, and other leaders and related principals attended the ceremony, and witnessed the trilateral signing. In the signing ceremony, Zhang Weizhong, President of Kanda EP Group, and Xie Fuqiang, Dean of Central and Southern China Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., Hainan Branch respectively on behalf of the combo party to sign the contract with Wang Biyun, President of Dongfang City Water Affairs Engineering Co., Ltd.
        Construction Content and Scale of EPC for Renovation and Expansion Project of Sewage Treatment Plants in Dongfang City:the 3,000 meters distance from the industrial park to the main pipe for sewerage conveyance of Dongfang Sewage Treatment Plant, and expansion, upgrading and reconstruction of the equipment in the existing sewage plants. The scale of design and treatment of the status treatment equipment is 25,000 m³/d. The treatment object is urban domestic sewage. The project of upgrading and reconstruction of sewage treatment plants is divided into two phases: after the first phase of project completing in late 2017, the sewage treatment capacity will reach 35,000 m³/d; and after the second phase completing in 2018, the sewage treatment capacity will reach 50,000 m³/d. The bidding price of the project is RMB 176,701,250; the rate of floating downward of the bid is 0.73%; and the duration of contract is 520 calendar days.
        The successful signing of the project takes a solid step for Kanda EP Group to enter the water affairs market of Hainan Province, and strengthens the constant promotion of the national strategy of the environmental protection industry of the group, being a significant move of the group in the national strategic layout. After the construction, the water environment of Dongfang City and its surrounding areas will be greatly improved, promoting the water pollution control, offshore water quality protection of Dongfang City and the habitat ecosystem balance.
