Kangda EP Group and Huizhou Environment Protection Bureau Hold the Signing Ceremony of the Franchise

      On September 8, 2017, Huizhou Environment Protection Bureau signedThe Franchise Agreement on Phase I and Phase II PPP Procurement Project of Huizhou Maan Domestic Sewage Treatment Plantwith Chongqing Kangda Environmental Protection Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. and Huizhou Kangda Sheng Water Co., Ltd in Huizhou. Leaders and relevant heads, including Huang Shuixiang, Director General of Huizhou Environment Protection Bureau; Li Dayi, Deputy Director General of Huizhou Environment Protection Bureau; Huang Haitao, Secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection; Zhang Zhongwei, President of Kangda Group; Qian Feng, Vice President of Kangda Group and Yang Zhiyuan, President Assistant of Kangda Group, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the contract signing among three parties.
      During the signing ceremony, on behalf of social capital party and project company respectively, Zhang Zhongwei, President of Kangda Group and Qian Feng, Vice President of Kangda Group signed the franchise agreement with Huang Shuixiang, Director General of Huizhou Environment Protection Bureau.
      The Huizhou Maan Domestic Sewage Treatment Plant PPP Project was a key project of Guangdong Province. The total scale of the project was 210,000 tons per day. The scale of construction was 200,000 tons per day, and the scale of taking over the Maan Town Sewage Treatment Plant was 10,000 tons per day. The franchise period of the project was 27 years.
The successful signed project further consolidated the position of Kangda EP in water treatment market, constantly pushing forward the completed coverage strategy of industrial chain, and playing a crucial part in promoting the development of the PPP project. Upon the completion, the project would greatly improve the water environment of Maan, Huizhou and its neighboring area, and would play a positive role in water pollution control, Dongjiang River water quality protection, and human settlement eco-system balance.
