At 10 a.m. on November 13, 2018, Chen Chuanshuai, Member of Standing Committee of CPC Dongping County Committee and Executive Deputy County Chief, and other leaders visited the project site of Dongping County Second Sewage Treatment Works for investigation, accompanied by Wang Chengyuan and Li Jianli, Director and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Dongping Economic Development Zone. They were received by Luan Tongjiang, General Manager of western Shandong Branch of Kangda Group.
      On the site, County Chief Chen carefully listened to the personnel of project department on the progress of the project and the examination and approval procedures, as well as the introduction to the impact of current national policies on environmental protection enterprises and the economic status of the enterprise given by General Manager Luan. On behalf of the county Party committee and county government, County Chief Chen promised that after the project was put into production, the county government would fulfill the contract seriously, pay the sewage treatment service fee on time, and start the second phase construction as soon as possible after the expansion conditions were met.
      Next, County Chief Chen conducted on-site investigation to check the actual progress and the quality of the project. During the investigation, he required that the project department must strictly control quality and construction procedures. In the case of ensuring safe production, they should overcome difficulties, accelerate construction progress, and ensure the project to meet the condition of water trial operation by March 2019. County Chief Chen also emphasized in the discussion that supervision unit must strictly perform supervision responsibilities, and carefully complete the process acceptance and site supervision to ensure the project quality according to the characteristics of many concealed works in the sewage treatment plant.
      Finally, County Chief Chen said that he would visit the leaders of Kangda Group to jointly promote the construction progress of Dongping County Second Sewage Treatment Works project.
