On the afternoon of November 9, 2018, the project company held a meeting on the environmental acceptance of the Phase I upgrading and the Phase II expansion of Wenzhou West Sewage Plant. The acceptance check was conducted by a team made up of environmental experts and representatives from the municipal environmental protection agency, the municipal academy of environmental science, the municipal environmental monitoring station, the construction company and the supervising company.

      Together with the plant’s workers, the team visited the site of environmental facilities and paid close attention to the stench collecting and processing system including grille wells, pump rooms and sludge rooms. Later, the municipal environmental protection agency presided at a discussion meeting where the plant’s relevant manager introduced the projects and the implementation, operation and monitoring of environmental measures.
      With consideration of the field visit, experts’ opinions and the acceptance investigation report, the team advised on the follow-up management of the projects and reached consensus on passing the acceptance check, citing complete formalities, sufficient technical data, and qualified facilities.
