When Love Gathers and Warms in Winter — Kangda Group Donates to Maping Primary School

On December 16, twelve young volunteer representatives from Kangda Group, with the leadership of Duan Haiyan, Assistant to the President of the Group and Director of the President Office, and Zhu Tao, Deputy Director of the President Office, visited Maping Primary School, Tianba Town, Wuxi County, to participate in the completion ceremony of the campus cultural wall funded by Kangda Group and the volunteer activity of "When Love Gathers and Warms in Maping".

Kangda Group always treats "Sincere Commitment and Repaying the Society" as its original intention and core values. The future and destiny of the country is based on education. Kangda Group finds it an obligatory duty to support China's educational cause, especially rural basic education. With a donation of RMB 100,000 to Maping Primary School, the Group funded the renovation of campus walls and the construction of campus cultural facilities, with an aim to improve the teaching environment. In addition, more than 200 gifts such as schoolbags, books and stationery were given to students of the school. With such actions, they hope to express Kangda Group's care for teachers and students in mountainous areas and make a modest contribution to rural education. While developing businesses, they regard educational donation as a way to carry forward traditional virtues and promote corporate culture. By taking practical actions, they fulfill Kangda's social responsibilities.

During the activity, those volunteers interacted with children closely. Some volunteers learned from children how to make handicrafts with buttons. Some played games and sang and danced with children. Some talked with children about their future, dreams and puzzles... The bright and happy smiles on the face of children warmed volunteers in the cold winter... Cuddling up against volunteers or sitting around them, those children behaved like close friends. Their whisper and laughter made the atmosphere at the school as warm as spring in March. At last, children offered red scarves to the leaders and volunteers of Kangda, and also presented button artifacts as a symbol of friendship between them.
