In early spring, Chongqing sees sprouting vegetation while the ground comes back to life. On the morning of March 12, 2018, the voluntary planting theme activity "Plantation for Invaluable Assets" took place at the forest park of Nantianmen Village, Xinglong Town, Yubei District. The activity was participated in by more than 500 people including leaders of Yubei District Forestry Bureau, persons in charge of relevant departments, and representatives of key state-owned enterprises and private enterprises.

      In active response to the municipal party committee and government's call for voluntary tree planting in 2018, Kangda Group takes the initiative in Yubei District's afforestation and rural vitalization action plans. With the leadership of Duan Haiyan, Assistant to the President of the Group and Director of the President Office, and Zhu Tao, Deputy Director of the President Office, more than 20 volunteers from Kangda's departments, divisions and subsidiaries attended the voluntary planting activity "Plantation for Invaluable Assets" which was organized by Yubei District Afforestation Committee Office at the forest park of Nantianmen Village, Xinglong Town, Yubei District. On the occasion of the theme activity, they launched Kangda Group's 2018 voluntary tree planting activity of "Afforesting Mountains to Safeguard Our Home".

      It was a bit cold and breezy that morning. With their sleeves rolled up, they vigorously waved shovels to plant seedlings and fill back soil. While laboring, they talked about national development and the progress of Chongqing and Kangda, expressing a firm resolution to implement and spread the concept of ecological priority and green development, to plant more trees, and make contributions to the improvement of Chongqing's landscape and air quality. It was a quite busy scene. After plantation, 5,000 seedlings of nanmu and camphor trees appeared full of vigor and vitality at the new breeding base.

      On the same day, all the branches of Kangda Group held various thematic activities to echo the Group's call. The Shangqiu branch company staged the 4-day theme activity of "Embracing Spring, Sowing Green". The Wanbei Company implemented the theme activity of "Beautifying Environment, Greening Home". The eight water plants under the Luxi Company and relevant water factories respectively held activities. With concrete measures from top to bottom, Kangda Group implements the concept that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", unswervingly upholds ecological priority and green development, and promotes the high-quality development of environment-friendly economy.
