      To further deepen the educational activities themed "remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind" and learn the experience of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park in the planning and construction of "five integrations" including management system & mechanism, industrial transformation & upgrading, supporting infrastructures and safety & environmental protection, Gou Zengjie, Secretary of Party Working Committee of Dongying Port Economic Development Zone, led a delegation of the Zone to Shanghai to investigate and learn from the Park from October 22 to 23. As a leading environmental protection enterprise in the Zone, Dongying Plant participated in the investigation and learning at the request of the Management Committee.

      The delegation first got to know the construction of "five integrations" of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park through on-the-spot investigation. Then, the delegation and representatives of Shanghai Chemical Industry Park exchanged ideas in a symposium. Through discussion and communication, the gap of development between the Zone and the Park has been found and the motivation of the delegation for further developing the Zone has been strengthened. According to the delegation, Dongying Port Economic Development Zone will transfer what has been learned from the Park into actual achievements.

       Through this investigation and learning, the delegation of Dongying Plant has become more aware of Dongying's goal of laying an environmental foundation for the construction of high-end petrochemical industry base in North Shandong and pushing forward the process of upgrading the standard of class-V water as soon as possible, so as to make due contributions to the environmental protection in the Zone.
