On February 26, 2020, under the guidance of the Dongying Port Economic Develop Area Branch of Dongying Environmental Protection Agency, Kangda EP Dongying plant organized an emergency drill in response to any emergency during the COVID-19 outbreak.

      The emergency drill simulated the emergency response process of sudden fever of staff at work: the body temperature monitoring personnel first placed the fever patient in the quarantine area and reported to the leader of the epidemic prevention and control group immediately; relevant personnel took emergency response measures in accordance with the procedures and requirements of the emergency response scheme promptly; relevant personnel retook body temperature and reported to the CDC, the fever patient drove to the hospital's fever clinic for further examination and medical treatment, and relevant personnel disinfected the plant. Timely, orderly and coordinated, the emergency drilling achieved the expected results.

      Through the emergency drill, Dongying plant refined and improved every step of the drill, and further improved the operability of its emergency response scheme, which would help to ensure the safe and orderly production and operation of Dongying plant and guarantee the COVID-19 prevention and control work, further enhancing the staff's confidence in containing COVID-19.
