       "In face of the epidemic, everyone is responsible for fighting against the epidemic". During the epidemic, No.2 Plant of Zhengzhou Xinzhongzhou Water Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "No.2 Plant") has been rigorously meeting the requirements of relevant departments of the People's Government of Xinzheng City for epidemic prevention and control to conduct the closed-off management, entrance & exit registration, body temperature measurement and staff & workshop disinfection to on-post staff, as well as the regular disinfection of such workplaces as production areas and office areas. Meanwhile, No.2 Plant has received multiple government sectors of Xinzheng City for their inspection and guidance of the prevention and control of COVID-19.

       At 15:10 on March 9, Zheng Yanqing, Political Commissar of the People's Armed Force Department, the Standing Committee of CPC Xinzheng Municipal Committee, accompanied by Ma Huiping, Director of NPC Xinyan Sub-district Office, Xinzheng City, visited No.2 Plant for inspecting the epidemic prevention and control work. While extending warm reception to the leaders, Gao Yantao, Vice Plant Manager of No.2 Plant introduced the operation conditions of the whole plant and the specific implementation situations of the epidemic prevention and control in detail. In the meantime, Gao Yantao elaborated on the complete sewage treatment process from the inlet and outlet. Political Commissar Zheng expressed that he gained a lot from this inspection. He praised the epidemic prevention and control work of Zhengzhou Xinzhongzhou Water Co., Ltd.

       At 10:00 on March 10, accompanied by leaders from Xinyan Sub-district Office and Industry and Information Technology Bureau of Xinzheng City, Li Zhiqiang, Chairman of CPPCC Xinzheng Municipal Committee, visited No.2 Plant for inspection. Gao Yantan accompanied this visit, and introduced the sewage treatment process of the plant and the functions of relevant procedures for sewage treatment in detail, as well as the operation and management of No.2 Plant during the epidemic. Meanwhile, Gao Yantao reported in detail the online effluent monitoring situation.

       Through this inspection and guidance, leaders of the People's Government of Xinzheng City at all levels gave cordial greetings and sincere gratitude to staff of No.2 Plant who are fighting on the front line for protecting the environment and benefiting the people during the special period of COVID-19. At the same time, leaders requested all staff to cling to the epidemic prevention and control, unswervingly safeguarding the last ditch of urban sewage treatment. On behalf of all officials and staff of No.2 Plant, Gao Yantao made the commitment that before the epidemic is completely eradicated, No.2 Plant will persistently and strictly abide by the requirements of environmental protection and of relevant government departments to prioritize the physical and psychological health and life safety of staff, rigorously implement the arrangements for epidemic prevention, ensure the normal operation of all procedures, and guarantee the standard sewage discharge.
