On March 23, the first batch of 669 members of Chongqing Medical Team Supporting Xiaogan evacuated from Hubei to Chongqing by five planes respectively.30 million Chongqing people welcomed heroes returning in triumph with the highest courtesy. 
       Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Chongqing has sent a total of 1,636 medical workers in 18 batches to Hubei for support, including 7 batches of 812 members who provided prevention and treatment of COVID-19 to Xiaogan for pairing assistance. During the period in Xiaogan, based on the principle of "dividing up the work and assigning a part to each individual", Chongqing Medical Team Supporting Xiaogan mainly took charge of "one district and three counties", namely, Xiaonan District, Yunmeng County, Xiaochang County, and Dawu County. All medical workers were distributed in 6 local designated hospitals.Up to 24 p.m. on March 22, Chongqing Medical Team Supporting Xiaogan has directly managed 1,110 cases and discharged 1,082 cases in total.
