       On the occasion of the "National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day", Linyi Water Affairs held drills on emergency response plans for fire fighting and high-altitude operations in its factory on the morning of May 19, to improve its fire disaster site disposal ability and emergency response capacity and level in high-altitude operations, ensure that rescue work can be carried out quickly and efficiently in the event of accidents and avoid or reduce casualties and property losses as far as possible.

       The drill on the emergency plan for fire fighting was held in the open area of the South Square of Linyi Water Affairs. Zhao Pengfei, the deputy factory director, first explained in detail the general knowledge of safety prevention and fire emergency response to the staff. He Litao, the director of the operational department, introduced and demonstrated the use of fire extinguishers at the scene; after that, all the participating staff members received the simulated training one by one in accordance with the flow path of the emergency response plan.

       The drill on the emergency response plan for high-altitude operations was held in the pump house for returned sludge. Zhu Shixiang, chief of the Operation Section, explained the definition, characteristics, safety protection measures, flow path and matters needing attention in each stage of high-altitude operations; the members of all teams demonstrated the process of high-altitude operations and the emergency response measures in the event of an accident in a complete and standardized manner based on the plan and the division of labor. In the drill, all the staff members acted in close coordination rigorously and orderly.
       Through the drill, the staff members' awareness of fire control and high-altitude operation safety has been further enhanced, their disposal capability in disaster prevention and reduction has been improved, and the confidence in fire fighting and the disposal of accidents in high-altitude operations has been strengthened, which have laid a good foundation for the safety production of Linyi Water Affairs.
