      Recently, Kangda Environmental Protection (Shangqiu) Water Co., Ltd. was awarded as "The Unit of Environmental Protection and Urban Sewage Treatment Facilities Open to the Public" by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China.

      As Henan Provincial Environmental Education Base, Kangda Environmental Protection (Shangqiu) Water Co., Ltd. has adhered to the concept of opening-up and continuously played its role as an environmental education base through various activities such as public open day, to welcome primary and middle school students as well as university students to visit the company for many times. During the COVID-19 outbreak, some cloud videos on the visit to the company were used by the WeChat official account of Henan Environment, making Kangda Environmental Protection a participant and contributor of environmental protection publicity and environmental problem-solving.

      Opening enterprises to the public, on the one hand, can enhance the public's understanding of sewage treatment, improve people's awareness of environmental protection, and stimulate their enthusiasm to support and participate in environmental protection. On the other hand, the opening of the units of environmental protection facilities to the public means that the units are willing to accept public supervision and strengthen their communication with the public, which is of great significance to promote the healthy development of enterprises as well.
