Recently, the Jiaozuo Federation of Trade Unions has held a grand open commendation meeting, during which General Manager Yuan Jianguang of Jiaozuo Branch Company and Operational Area of Jiaozuo First Plant were respectively awarded the honorary titles of "Jiaozuo Municipal May 1st Labor Medal" and "Jiaozuo Municipal Workers' Pioneer".
General Manager Yuan Jianguang of the Jiaozuo Branch Company has been engaged in the sewage treatment industry for a long time. As the master supervisor of Henan Polytechnic University, expert of sewage treatment industry of Henan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, water treatment expert of the Department of Ecology and Environment of Henan Province, and expert for environmental impact assessment and environmental emergency risk prevention and control in Jiaozuo, he successively presided over the construction and commissioning of 5 sewage treatment plants, took charge of over 20 technical reforms, saved the cost by tens of millions of yuan annually, presided over the authoring of feasibility study reports, project reports and project proposals for 4 sewage treatment plants, compiled disposal plans for 3 pollution accidents and incidents, published over 10 industrial papers on the national-level journals, and worked as the technical consultant of sewage treatment stations at the invitation of multiple large-scale enterprises, making outstanding contributions to regional energy conservation, discharge reduction and water environment treatment. Since serving as the general manager of Jiaozuo Branch Company, he has constantly strengthened the operation and management of water plants, actively introduced new techniques and technologies, explored economic and reasonable sewage treatment process, established a strict and formal management system, and focused on corporate and employee team construction, for which, the company repeatedly won provincial honors to be the industrial benchmark.
The operation team of Jiaozuo First Plant that won the title of "Workers' Pioneer" is a tough and responsible team. Under the leadership of General Manager Yuan Jianguang and Deputy Director Zhao Aiping, it efficiently guaranteed the stable operation of Jiaozuo First Plant through fine control of the sewage treatment process and efficient maintenance of sewage equipment operation. Especially during the COVID-19 outbreak this year, they risked contacting with sewage from the hospital for infectious diseases, fought against the epidemic at the forefront, strengthened the last line of defense of water environment for the life security of citizens. Their deeds have been published on Jiaozuo Daily and praised by the Jiaozuo Federation of Trade Unions and Construction Labor Union.
