Recently, Henan Provincial Construction Labor Union awarded an honorary title of "Outstanding Worker of 2019 Provincial Housing, Urban and Rural Construction Systems" to Chang Wei, an employee of Jiaozuo First Plant, representing that the local government again praised and encouraged the labor union of this plant and its workers.

      Comrade Chang Wei has long been working for the labor union with an additional post. Besides his own work, he assisted the leaders of the labor union to carefully perform the work duties as the assistant and adviser of Party and government leaders, making contributions to corporate production and cooperation. In particular, since acting as the Vice Chairman of the Labor Union in 2018, he has given top priority to the rights and interests of employees, paid attention to the needs and appeals of employees, focused on their thoughts and mental states, organized various cultural activities, enriched their spare-time cultural life, enhanced corporate cohesion, and brought the communication function of the labor union into full play. 
      In recent years, the labor union won provincial and municipal recognition consecutively, its multiple groups won the title of Municipal Workers' Pioneer and Provincial Winning Prize of "Cup of Safety & Health", 1 person won the title of Provincial Model Worker, and 2 people won the Municipal May 1st Labor Medal, which promoted the successful completion of various corporate production tasks as well as the coordinated and stable development of various corporate undertakings.
