On July 1, Jia Zhiguo, director of the Shangqiu No.6 Sewage Treatment Plant, led all the middle-level leaders of the plant to carry out a plantwide inspection on safe production, to ensure safety in the production of the plant and its normal operation and to guarantee the implementation of its safety system.

      Under the leadership of Director Jia, the inspection team carried out throughout checks in the key areas of the plant including the office building, the testing laboratory, the central-control room, gratings, the dosing room and the distribution room in strict accordance with the checklist for safe production. During the checks, they paid special attention to the problems of aging existing in fire fighting facilities, toxic chemicals, electrical equipment and warning billboards as it sought to remove all hidden dangers in the plant.
