On July 10, Kangda Environmental Protection (Shangqiu) Water Co., Ltd. held a meeting on safety guarantees in the high water season. At the meeting, Director Pan Hongxia conveyed the spirits of the document The Notice on the Implementation of Safety Guarantees in the High Water Season in 2020 issued by the group, in which it is required to deploy the safety responsibility system, improve the contingency plan for flood control, strengthen the management of the plant in the flood season and keep abreast of the changes in water quality in time, and the leaders of various departments are demanded to strengthen supervision on their relevant issues to ensure the work in flood prevention is perfectly safe. In addition, meteorological supervisors were specially assigned to grasp the rain and flood situations and guard against risks. 
      After that, Director Jia Changhua gave a training lecture on safe operation in limited spaces to the employees. Director Jia first explained the concept of "operation in limited spaces". Then on the basis of the locations concerning the operation in limited spaces in the plant, he illustrated the causes of accidents during operation in the downhole, risks in inspection shafts, the Five Provisions for Safe Operation in Limited Space, the flow of the operation in limited space, and introduced all kinds of protective equipment and their usage and post-accident immediate treatment procedures with examples.
      This training lecture strengthened the employees' awareness of risk and safety and enriched the knowledge and experience reserve of the operators, which is conductive to both the intensifying of safe operation in the plant and the management of the plant in the flood season.
