Due to continuous heavy rain since July, the river water level in Leping City has risen fiercely. At the same time, heavy rains in upstream Dexing and Wuyuan, which led to floods besieging some villages and towns in Leping, has posed a serious threat to the lives and property safety of the people. The disaster is the order. On the morning of July 9, 2020, Leping Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau immediately launched an emergency plan and established a Flood Relief Team headed by Director Zou Jinsong and a Flood Relief Rescue Team composed of middle-level officials and ordinary members of the staff.
As a member contributing to Leping's construction, PPP Project Department of Comprehensive Treatment Project of Urban River on the South of Leping actively responded to the call of the Leping River and Lake Eco-Environment Management Co., Ltd. and Leping Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau. Under the leadership of Ouyang Zhiyu of Engineering Department and Project Manager Yao Yungang of Leping River and Lake Eco-Environment Management Co., Ltd., a Flood Relief Team composed of all the staff of the Project Department and the main management personnel of labor subcontracting was set up. All the staff was required to keep in 24-hour communication and be at service for Leping Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau.
