———— Jiaozuo Branch Company Takes an Active Part in Establishing a National Health City

       On August 23, 2020, a technical evaluation on the establishment of a national health city in Jiaozuo was conducted by the National Health City Technical Evaluation Group led by Gao Xiaojun, leader of the National Health City Technical Evaluation Group, deputy director of the Beijing Patriotic Health Campaign Committee and a first-class inspector of the Beijing Municipal Health Commission. On the afternoon of August 24, the Evaluation Group accompanied by Yan Xiaoxing, deputy mayor of Jiaozuo and others, visited Jiaozuo Branch Company for technical evaluation. 

       The Evaluation Group first inspected the on-site operation of each water plant in Jiaozuo and carefully screened the operation records and materials in reference rooms. Leaders highly praised the clean and beautiful plant environment, clear outlet water and efficient and standardized operation. In the meeting room, the leader of the Jiaozuo Urban Management Bureau gave a report on a great deal of work done by Jiaozuo Branch Company in the process of establishing a national health city. GM Yuan Jianguang answered the questions raised by the leaders in detail and conducted technical exchange with experts from the Evaluation Group. The Evaluation Group fully affirmed the remarkable results achieved by Jiaozuo Branch Company's unremitting efforts in implementing various measures that promote the establishment of the national health city.

       Jiaozuo Branch Company is a mandatory inspection unit for the establishment of a national health city. Since 2017 when Jiaozuo launched its campaign to establish a national health city, the Company, under the unified command of government departments, has adhered to the principle of "taking operation compliance as the premise, site management as a priority, health education as guidance and disease prevention as the core" to engage in the long-drawn-out course with full mobilization of all members of staff, overall planning and deliberate arrangements. Jiaozuo Branch Company set up a working group of the establishment of a national health city led by the general manager and developed a well-thought-out work program. It also laid emphasis on five aspects: Strengthen the health education to staff by organizing them to learn relevant health policies and regulations; strengthen disease vectors prevention against the occurrence of common and infectious diseases; strengthen patriotic health work and efforts in improving the health environment within and around the plant; strengthen the maintenance of trees and lawns to further beautify the plant environment; keep buildings in the plant clean, lighting facilities in perfect conditions with 100% normal operation of road lamps. 
       The facilities, especially the disinfection facilities, of each water plant are in normal operation, standardized management, complete operation records. The remaining sludge is effectively treated and resourced. Various tasks related to the establishment assigned by the relevant superior departments have been completed with high standards and high quality. All these have contributed to the realization of the goal of establishing a national health city in Jiaozuo. At the same time, with constant efforts put in the establishment of a national health city, Jiaozuo Branch Company also gets further improvement in operation and management.
