In response to the frequent occurrence of safety accidents in limited space operations in the sewage treatment industry in summer, and mass deaths and injuries caused by the improper rescue, etc. Jiaozuo Branch Company held two sessions of special training on safety knowledge for operations in limited spaces from August 31 to September 1, in which Yuan Jianguang, general manager, personally gave lessons, and all employees of all subordinated water plants participated. These two activities were designed to further strengthen the company's safety management, enhance employees' risk awareness, standardize the operating procedures, and effectively prevent the occurrence of safety accidents in limited space operations. 

      During the training, GM Yuan gave explanations on identification methods, operation approval processes, matters needing attention and emergency measures of limited spaces in combination with the cases of operation accidents in limited spaces and the actual situation of the company. GM Yuan stressed that operations in limited spaces should resolutely follow the principle of "ventilation first, detection second, and operation last", implement the operation permit and safety supervisory systems, adding that everyone should comply with the scientific and standardized operation procedures, master the scientific and correct emergency handling skills to refrain from blind rescues. 
      After the training, all members of staff took the tests for operations in limited spaces, with a 100% pass, which showed that the training achieved the expected effect. Going forward, in terms of operations in limited spaces, Jiaozuo Branch Company will organize an emergency drill, in which detailed explanations on how to wear protective equipment, how to use detecting instruments, and how to deal with emergencies with first aid measures in a simulated site will be given. 

The training and tests further deepened employees' knowledge of operations in limited space, improved employees' safety awareness and the company's safety management level, and ensured the company's safe, steady and healthy development.
