The scale of the upgrading and reconstruction project of Yucheng No.2 Sewage Treatment Plant is 60,000 tons/day with an investment of RMB 80.46 million. The effluent standard is improved from the previous COD, ammonia nitrogen, and TP indicators of Class 1 Grade A to Level V of surface water. The sewage treatment plant adopted the process of "pretreatment+primary sedimentation tank+AAO tank+secondary sedimentation tank+secondary lifting pump station+high-efficiency sedimentation tank+fiber rotary filter+disinfecting tank". In the sludge treatment in the past, integrated belt filter presses were used to thicken and dehydrate sludge. Then dehydrated sludge cakes were dried and burned. After the project is completed, catalytic ozonation is used as the main process. By transforming the sludge discharge facility of the high-efficiency sedimentation tank, the sludge output under the new standard can be reached. The number of sludge thickeners will be increased to improve sludge performance to enter belt dehydrators, so as to improve dehydration efficiency.

      The project mainly includes the construction of secondary sedimentation tanks, ozone generating rooms, liquid oxygen stations, ozone oxidation tanks, sludge thickeners, electrical substations, and pipe networks. Besides, blower rooms (replacing previous blowers with maglev blowers) and sludge discharge facilities of high-efficiency sedimentation tanks will be transformed.
