On the afternoon of October 10, led by Zhang Wengang, Principal of Qishan Shanjiu School, the vice principal, chief of General Affairs and over 50 middle school teachers and students of this school paid a visit to Qishan Dayuan Sewage Treatment Co., Ltd. and learned about the entire technological process of urban sewage treatment. Under the hospitable reception of Wang Peihong, Vice Plant Manager for production of Qishan Plant, a simple yet solemn award ceremony was held. 

      After the teachers and students arrived at the plant, Zhang Wengang, Principal of Qishan Shanjiu School, on behalf of the school, expressed his sincere thanks to Qishan Plant's strong support for this activity and personally handed over the school's bronze medal of "Practice Base for After-school Education" to Wang Peihong, Vice Plant Manager for production of Qishan Plant

      Afterwards, Plant Manager Wang led the teachers and students to visit the whole technological process of sewage treatment as well as the central control room, laboratory and main equipment functions, etc, giving detailed on-site explanations for the complete technological process from inlet to outlet. During the visit, the students listened to the explanation carefully and put forward various questions. Plant Manager Wang, in turn, answered all these questions with patience. Seeing the treated water, students all exclaimed "How limpid the water is!" and was deeply amazed at the power of technologies as well as the complexity of treatment processes. 

      This activity enabled the teachers and students to have a preliminary understanding of sewage treatment as well as the way to protect water resources and use water in a reasonable manner. Meanwhile, through this activity, these students got to know how to put the consciousness of loving, cherishing, protecting and saving water into practice in their daily lives. Being the backbone of local environmental protection enterprises, Qishan Plant is supposed to shoulder the responsibility and mission of protecting the ecological environment and providing citizens there with a clean and habitable paradise.
