The Expansion Project (Phase II) of the Sewage Treatment Plant in Feng County Economic Development Zone undertaken by Kangda Intl. Environmental Co., Ltd. (Kangda EP) is now underway systematically as scheduled. Currently, 90% of the main structure, 80% of the civil engineering of the biological pool, and 90% of the equipment installation have been completed, and the pipeline laying is ongoing steadily.
       With an investment of approximately RMB 50 million and a construction scale of 20,000 t/day, the Expansion Project (Phase II) was listed as a key assessment engineering project of the People's Government of Feng County in Jiangsu Province by the Headquarters of Feng County for Pollution Prevention in June 2020. Since the construction commencement, the Department of Expansion Project (Phase II) has united as one to adhere to the principle of "quality first and safety construction" under the care and guidance of the People's Government of Feng County, advancing the steady construction in an active and efficient manner. With the arrival of this chilly winter, the snowy weather has affected the progress. Nevertheless, all the staff members of the Department of Expansion Project (Phase II) have been hopefully paying all-out efforts to fulfill this blueprint of building a pro-people project and establishing an environmental protection monument for Feng County Economic Development Zone regardless of the bitter cold and low temperature.
       In addition to further facilitating the reclaimed water reuse and improved the quality of recycled water in Feng County, the steady construction of the Expansion Project (Phase II) is also expected to tremendously improve the regional water quality environment and lift the level of Feng County.
