On the afternoon of December 28, a leading group consisting of Chen Guangyou, Deputy Head of Shenxian County, Bai Peilong, Deputy Director of the People's Government Office of Shenxian County, Zhang Fangtang, Director of Liaocheng Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment Shenxian County Branch, Wang Peng, Director of Donglu Sub-district Office, and Yang Baojie, Director of Shenting Sub-district Office visited the Shenxian County Water Plant for inspecting the Phase III expansion work accompanied by Feng Xiuyuan, Director of Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Bureau of Shenxian Country. The plant manager Zhu Qingguang introduced the detailed operation and management at the project site, equipment and devices, project management, and the progress of the Phase III expansion project, and kept company with the leading group to inspect the construction progress on site.
The leading group made a field investigation of the Phase III expansion project and stressed the following points: first, the construction progress must be accelerated after the removal of the response to environmental control to ensure the project will be put into operation in June next year; second, it must strengthen the construction safety management, especially fire control, anti-thunder, skid resistance, and on-site temporary power; third, the construction must be conducted in strict accordance with design standards and process to guarantee the up-to-standard sewage treatment. Sewage treatment is an elementary task concerning people's livelihood. Hence, stronger senses of responsibility and urgency are called for to proactively solve existing difficulties and problems and accelerate project construction. It is necessary to further clarify time nodes, fully consider the influence of weather factors like environmental control on the construction schedule, and speed up the construction progress, so as to ensure that the project can be finished as scheduled, and deliver a satisfactory result to the residents of Shenxian County.
