Officials from Linyi Urban Management Bureau Check Safety Protection Work in Field Operations

      On the afternoon of February 19, Zong Fangcai, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director-General of Linyi Urban Management Bureau, Zhou Jiande, Grade-IV Investigator of Linyi Urban Management Law Enforcement Detachment and Chief of the Municipal Works Section of the Bureau, and Wang Haibin, Grade-IV Investigator of the Detachment and Chief of the Supervision and Assessment Section of the Bureau inspected production safety work in Linyi Water Affairs of Kangda EP after the Spring Festival holiday. Zhao Pengfei, Deputy Director of Linyi Water Affairs and the relevant functional personnel accompanied them.

 The Inspection Team Checks Fire Prevention Measures 

      The inspection team checked in detail potential safety hazards in field operations and medicament and dangerous chemical warehouses, as well as laboratory bio-safety and warehouse fireproofing, and examined whether the problems found during the quarterly inspection before the holiday had been rectified. Also, they carefully listened to reports on the sewage treatment process, safety protection management, and other related aspects of Linyi Water Affairs.

The Inspection Team Listens to Reports 

      They highly affirmed the improvement of safety protection work that Linyi Water Affairs had achieved recently. They stressed that as safety accidents likely happen at the end and beginning of a year, Linyi Water Affairs should also attach great importance to production safety while implementing pandemic prevention and control measures; should strengthen the sense of duty and pay high attention to safety protection; should screen common potential safety hazards effectively and eliminate them in time; should particularly attach importance to safety protection in operations in confined spaces and safety of medicament, hazardous chemicals, and noxious gases.

      As Linyi Water Affairs of Kangda EP is the key unit of sewage treatment in Beicheng New District, the new core of the city, much attention has been paid to its operation and safety protection work. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, in particular, its competent department has strengthened the management, inspection, and assessment of its safety work.  Linyi Water Affairs has adhered to guidelines of executives at all levels of the group, strictly implemented safety protection requirements, paid close attention to safety issues, and striven to raise safety responsibility awareness, in order to eradicate safety accidents and make greater contributions to the creation of a good living environment in Linyi.
