On March 25, 2021, Qitaihe Kangda Water Co., Ltd., responsible unit for the Expansion Project of Qitaihe No.1 Sewage Treatment Plant, organized the design, construction control, geological exploration, construction, and quality supervision units of the project to check and accept the project. After checking the quality of the project and process data in an all-around way, all the parties agreed to the completion and acceptance of the project and also put forward instructive suggestions for areas that need improvement.
The construction of the expansion project commenced in May 2019. Through joint efforts of the project department, the company, and all the other units involved in construction, the project achieved trial operation on October 30, 2019, official comprehensive operation on May 27, 2020, and commercial operation on October 18, 2020. As the expansion project is a major livelihood project of Qitaihe, the government approved its construction without complete documents, and it went through all the formalities needed for the application for the Construction Permit in early January 2021.
