According to the requirements of environmental protection departments at all levels, to protect common people’s right to know about, participate in, and supervise environmental protection, improve their awareness of ecological and environmental protection, enable them to know more about the capabilities and effects of sewage treatment facilities, and enhance their awareness of saving water resources and protecting water environment, Jiaozuo Branch Company opened to the public for environmental protection facilities in early April.

      On April 9, Jiaozuo Plant No. 1 greeted 50 teachers and students from Henan Polytechnic University. Plant Manager Zhao Aiping and relevant technical personnel introduced the students to the water plant's operation and the sewage treatment process. They visited the central control room, water inlet, coarse grille, biological aeration tank, water outlet and other equipment and processes for sewage treatment. The students listened carefully, and took photos and notes. The students major in science and engineering, so they were very interested in the automatic control system and remote control system of the sewage treatment plant. They asked questions, and PM Zhao answered with patience. It was a cheerful and lively scene.

      Teachers and students said that they had their horizons broadened and learned about environmental protection not illustrated in the textbook by seeing the environmental protection facilities at the site, so they will be more aware of the importance of protecting water resources and more responsible for protecting the water environment and cherishing water resources.
