From April 19 to 20, the fifth central ecological environmental protection inspector team stationed in Henan province arrived in Jiaozuo for research led by Zhang Xueqiao, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee and deputy procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

      On the morning of the 19th, the team inspected the production and operation of Plant I & II in Jiaozuo in the company of the Henan Government, the CPPCC, the Department of Ecology and Environment in Henan Province, and the main leaders of Jiaozuo City. Jiaozuo's General Manager Yuan Jianguang reported to Zhang Xueqiao and other leaders in detail the scale and process of sewage treatment, the index control of sewage treatment and discharge, and the resource utilization of reclaimed water and sludge in Plant I & II. The leaders carefully inspected the key links such as the central control rooms of the water plants, the main production facilities and structures, the sewage discharge ports, and the online effluent testing rooms.  The leaders of the Fifth Central Ecological Environmental Protection Inspector Team were satisfied with the overall operation and management and the results achieved by Jiaozuo Water, praising the operation and management of the two plants as top-level in the province. Meanwhile, they encouraged the local government leaders to strengthen the construction of ecological environmental protection, effectively put the people's health in the first place, and seriously perform their duties and responsibilities in urban sewage treatment. 

      With good production and operation and significant social benefits for years, Jiaozuo Water has received widespread attention from the government and the community.  As a pride in Jiaozuo City, the sewage treatment plants in Jiaozuo have received various inspections and researches from national ministries and commissions, as well as from provinces and cities.

      Jiaozuo Water will take the opportunity of the central ecological and environmental protection inspection and continue to improve all the aspects of sewage treatment.  Based on the "water-oriented"  principle, Jiaozuo Water will play an active part in creating a better society and promoting the image of Kangda while striving to ensure standardized sewage treatment. To protect the "clear water and green hills", it will endeavor to lay the ecological foundation in city construction and make greater contributions in accelerating the green development in Jiaozuo.
