      On the morning of April 16, 2021, the young and middle-aged cadres of Training Class of Taiyuan Municipal Party School visited Taiyuan Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. for an practical activity. Chen Caiping, the general manager of Kangjin, accompanied them throughout the process and provided the introduction. 

      The cadres first observed the sand table model of the plant for a preliminary knowledge of the process links and then inspected the biological pool and water outlet (step 1, phase 1), and the water pump room (step 2, phase 1). After learning the process of turning stinky domestic sewage into clear water, they had a more intuitive and in-depth understanding of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". At the same time, General Manager Chen Caiping gave a comprehensive introduction of the construction, general development, process flows, treatment capacity, and water quality of the plant and answered all the questions raised by the cadres.

      At the end of the visit, the passionate cadres continued a lively discussion with Ms. Chen and expressed their hope to visit again.

      During his two visits to Shanxi, General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward clear requirements for environmental management, especially the management of the Fenhe River. Taiyuan Kangjin's well-operated Fendong Sewage Treatment Plant, the largest in Taiyuan, plays an important role in improving the water quality of the Taiyuan section of the Fenhe River Basin. It is a key project to realize the full collection and treatment of domestic sewage in the built-up area of Taiyuan and also an important link to prevent the direct discharge of sewage into Fenhe River. This practical activity for the cadres of the training class has presented itself as an in-depth study and practice of the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on his inspection of Shanxi. Meanwhile, it has better led the cadres of Kangjin to practice in deepening theoretical learning, grasping the overall situation, addressing risks, and reinforcing responsibility. In other words, it has been guided to promote the unity of knowledge and action and broaden the horizons; and to strengthen the awareness of social responsibility and drive the harmonious development of enterprises.

      Through this activity, all cadres and employees of Taiyuan Kangjin further deepen their understanding of Xi Jinping's thought on ecological civilization and enhance their confidence and determination in pollution prevention and control. In the future development of the company, they will work more closely and always keep in mind General Secretary Xi's wish of "bringing the Mother River of Shanxi back to massive volume, good quality, and pleasant attraction". Practical actions are essential to practice the concept of green living, care for the environment, and protect the clear water and blue sky of Taiyuan.
