On the morning of May 4, Tian Qingying, Secretary of Weifang Municipal Party Committee, visited Gaomi No. 2 Sewage Treatment Plant to inspect the water quality improvement. Tian Qingying, together with Li Lanxiang, the member and Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of Weifang Municipal Party Committee, Liu Yu, Secretary of Gaomi Municipal Party Committee, and Wang Wenqi, Mayor of Gaomi, received a warm welcome from Yi Xianfu, general manager of Kangda EP Gaomi Branch Company. Yi Xianfu made a detailed introduction to the production and operation of each process section of Gaomi No.2 Sewage Treatment Plant.

      Tian Qingying and other leaders inspected the comparison of water quality between inflow and outflow of the Plant and sewage treatment facilities and learned the specific project implementation of upgrading four types of sewage discharge standards and the application of fluoride removal technology. They stressed that more investment and speedy construction were needed to effectively dispose the sludge and improve the quality of effluent from sewage treatment.

      Yi Xianfu believed that with the support of the government and departments at all levels, Kangda EP will continue to strictly follow the environmental protection requirements and do better work in all respects, making new contributions to improving the water environment in Gaomi and the water quality flowing into rivers and seas.
