      On the afternoon of April 23, 2021, the first batch of ecological and environmental protection inspection group of the CPC Central Committee visited Taiyuan Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. to conduct supervision and guidance on the production and operation of the water plant. The relevant leaders of Taiyuan Urban and Rural Administration Bureau, Taiyuan Urban Drainage Management Center and Kangjin Water Co., Ltd accompanied the inspection.

      This inspection focuses on the production and operation of Taiyuan Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. Through the inspection of the production and operation records of the central control room, the understanding of online monitoring and the on-site observation of the coarse grid inlet and the inspection of archive data records, the inspection group has an in-depth understanding of the operation of emergency pumps and other facilities and equipment in flood season of Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. Chen Caiping, General Manager of Kangjin Water Co., Ltd., who accompanied the inspection, reported to the leader of the inspection group on the wastewater treatment of the plant and other related conditions, and answered the questions raised by the inspection group.

      The leaders of the inspection group also went into the production area to carefully check the operation of each process section of the water plant, and put forward highly instructive suggestions and opinions on how Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. can better achieve the effluent standard and achieve scientific pollution control. At the same time, it emphasized that, Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. shall further enhance the sense of social responsibility of the enterprise, continuously improve the influent and effluent monitoring system, and improve the sewage treatment capacity. Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. must take various safety precautions, give full play to the environmental protection benefits as a national key project, and effectively improve the water quality flowing into the Fenhe River, and it should make good contributions to achieve the goals of making the water volume of Fenhe River abundant, water quality better, and scenery more beautiful.

      As a key pollution control project for the Fenhe River in Taiyuan City, the Fendong Sewage Treatment Plant operated by Taiyuan Kangjin Water Co., Ltd. has new technology, high standards and strong treatment capacity, which plays an important role in winning the battle against pollution control and improving the quality of the living environment. This inspection and guidance made Kangjin's work goals more clear. All staff will thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s thoughts on ecological civilization, strictly implement the discharge standards of pollutants, and improve sewage treatment capacity and technological level. They will work hard to create a new situation in their work and write a new chapter in Shanxi's practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
