      On April 30, 2021, Sewage Treatment Plant in North Dongying Port Economic Development Zone held an expert review meeting on its application report of the 50,000m3 / d expansion project. This meeting is hosted by Dongying Port Branch under Dongying Bureau of Ecology and Environment, and invited three experts, Shen Jun, deputy general manager of Shandong Huankeyuan Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., Tian Xuzhong, chief engineer of Shandong Light Industry Design Institute Co., Ltd. and Yang Jie, senior engineer of Jinan Water Group Co., Ltd., to attend the meeting. The relevant persons in charge of the Finance Bureau of Dongying Port Economic Development Zone, North China Municipal Engineering Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Design Institute"), Ye Xiaodong of Technical Department in Chongqing Kangda International Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., Chen Guangzhong, general manager of Sewage Treatment Plant in North Dongying Port Economic Development Zone, and deputy manager Wu Lei attended the meeting together.
      The meeting first listened to the report of the Design Institute on the "Application Report of the Expansion Project", and all the participants discussed and deliberated on the report carefully; then, Shen Jun and other two experts put forward requirements on the scale, water quality, certain process sessions and budget mentioned in the report; the Design Institute said that it would modify the report with the experts' opinions, the program from Design Institute, the requirements of the Management Committee of Dongying Port Economic Development Zone and the actual situation of the region taken into account. On this basis, the Design Institute expressed that the budget would be re-examined to reduce the investment cost as much as possible and to ensure the feasibility of the project.
      Finally, Chen Guangzhong, general manager of the plant expressed gratitude to the competent departments and experts who attended the meeting and made a detailed summary of the review meeting and said that the plant would have more communication with the competent departments, position the plant more accurately, highlight the focus and accelerate the project construction.
