In the afternoon of May 24, 2021, the acceptance meeting of the clean production audit conducted by the Xingang Industrial Clusters Sewage Treatment Plant (hereinafter referred to as Xingang Plant) was held in the conference room of Kangda (Xinzheng) Water Co., Ltd. Li Xicai, chief of the pollution prevention section of Xinzheng Branch of Zhengzhou Bureau of Ecology and Environment, Professor Li Haihua, Professor Liu Shuaixia and Senior Engineer Sun Xiangqun of the clean production audit and assessment expert group attended the meeting and accepted the clean production work of the Xingang Plant. After its launch in August 2020, the clean production audit of the Xingang Plant accepted the preliminary assessment of the clean production audit expert group in January 2021 for the first time. Xingang Plant conducted rectification under the review of the expert group's preliminary assessment and completed a round of acceptance review after the Clean Production Audit Acceptance Report of the Xingang Industrial Cluster Sewage Treatment Plant in April, 2021.
With the implementation of this round of audit and in combination with the preliminary evaluation opinions of the expert group, No. X Sewage Treatment Plant quickly established a special clean production team. According to the experts' opinions and the overall guiding principles of clean production, all employees were mobilized to take energy conservation, consumption reduction, pollution reduction and efficiency improvement as work objectives. With the collective efforts of all, more than 20 feasible clean production plans were put forward, with an implementation rate of 100%. Certain environmental and economic benefits were obtained, which were approved by the expert group. This round's audit let us realize the importance and necessity of clean production for the company's energy conservation and consumption reduction.
